Burn Notification

As of May 5, 2025 at 8:30am there is a fire ban for the entire Municipality. This fire ban will be reviewed weekly. Authorized J Mann, Administrator further to by Bylaw 2023-04.

If you are burning within 4.5 kilometres of the provincial forest between April 1 and October 31, you are required to obtain a burn notification number. Call your local Response Centre Area which for the RM is Prince Albert. The number is 306-963-3423 between 8am and 5pm. When you call, have the following information ready:

o Name or organization responsible
o Contact Number(s)
o Mailing Address
o Email address
o Burn locations
o Purpose of the burn

Once you obtain your Burn Notification Number, please call the SPSA’s Control Burn Number at 1-866-404-4911 to let them know about your burn. This will help avoid unnecessary dispatches or firefighting resources to controlled fires.
